Partnering with WestPack, this one-and-a-half-day summit will explore packaging challenges and opportunities facing cannabis manufacturers and how the suppliers of packaging solutions can begin to approach this booming consumer market with greater insight and understanding. High-level speakers will include legislative, regulatory, educational, technology and industry leaders. Networking sessions and tabletop exhibits will be a part of the agenda on both days.
The strategic goal is to bridge the “information gap” in the market by constructing a link between the production, sale and distribution of cannabis products (food, medical, recreational) and the existing food, pharma and medical device packaging networks.
These existing networks have decades of expertise in packaging ingredients via new dosage and delivery systems, but they lack strong links to the emerging cannabis industry.
